Behind Usama Studio Is a Journey of Learning
I'm Usama Nadeem, the founder of Usama Studio.
My journey has taken me through Hifz, formal education, Deeni taleem, technology, design, self-learning and freelancing. I'm sharing a small part of that journey not to showcase what I've achieved, but in the hope that it may inspire or help someone else.
A Beginning With Hifz and Education
I come from the small village of Gangwar Hasanpur in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. I am a Hafiz, and I come from a religious family.
From an early age, my life included both Hifz and formal schooling. I continued my schooling alongside my Hifz, learning to manage both paths together.
Nusrat Memorial Public School

Up to Class 5, I studied at Nusrat Memorial Public School, Sarai Tareen, Sambhal, under my respected teacher Kashif Sir.
Z.U. Inter College
Sarai Tareen, Sambhal
From Class 6 through Class 12, I continued my schooling at Z.U. Inter College, Sarai Tareen, Sambhal.
A Decision That Opened a New Door
When I look back at my journey, one decision by my father stands out.
Thinking about my future, he insisted that I join a computer centre. At that time, neither my family nor my surroundings had a professional connection with technology. But that decision introduced me to a completely new world.
"Sometimes, someone else sees a possibility in you before you see it yourself."
Class 9 — My First Step Into Technology
In Class 9, I enrolled in the ADCP & SM course at IGM Computer Center.
It was a one-year course, and during that time my interest in technology started developing. This was one of the first moments when I began to understand that computers could become much more than something used for basic work.
Then My Journey Took a Different Direction
After completing that course, I left home to continue my Deeni taleem.
I went away to pursue my Aalimiyat, and my life entered a very different phase.
I completed my Aalimiyat journey through Madarsa Shahi, Moradabad, and Darul Uloom Deoband.
Technology Never Completely Left
Even while my primary focus was Deeni taleem, my connection with technology continued.
During this period, my father bought me a laptop. That laptop became a bridge between my studies and my interest in technology. Whenever I had the opportunity, I continued exploring and learning.
After Aalimiyat, I Returned to Technology
After completing my Aalimiyat from Darul Uloom Deoband, I decided to take my interest in technology further.
I moved to Delhi and joined MAAC for a 14-month UI UX Pro course.
That experience introduced me to many new tools, design principles and modern ways of working. It also gave me an opportunity to explore the rapidly changing world of AI and AI-assisted tools.
English Was Another Milestone
English was another major challenge for me.
At home, there wasn't much exposure to English, and technology was not something people around me were familiar with.
So I had to learn it myself. I learned through YouTube, different apps, practice and repeated mistakes. It was a gradual process. I kept learning, practising and trying again.
"Not knowing something is not the same as not being able to learn it."
Where I Am Today
After completing my UI UX course, I started freelancing from home.
That journey eventually became the foundation for Usama Studio. Today, Usama Studio brings together the areas I continue to work and learn in:
The Journey Isn't Finished
I don't consider this journey complete.
Technology keeps changing. Tools keep changing. The way we work keeps changing. So I continue learning. There is always another skill to understand, another tool to explore, another problem to solve and another thing to improve.
Why I'm Sharing This Story
I'm not sharing this story because I think it makes me special.
I'm sharing it because maybe someone reading it is standing where I once stood. Maybe you think your background is not connected to technology. Maybe you think your English isn't good enough. Maybe you don't have people around you who understand the field you want to enter. Maybe you simply don't know where to start.
I don't have a perfect formula. But my experience has taught me that you don't always need the perfect starting point. Sometimes you simply need to start learning.
Don't Make Your Circumstances Your Limit.
If there is something you genuinely want to learn, don't automatically consider your background, language, environment or lack of experience a permanent barrier. Start small. Learn what you can. Practise. Make mistakes. Try again. And keep going.
You may be surprised by how far consistent effort can take you.
Focus on the Effort
I have never wanted to measure this journey only by how much I could earn from it.
Of course, earning matters in life. But I believe our responsibility is to make the effort, learn, work honestly and keep moving forward. Rizq is from Allah. Our responsibility is to put in the effort.
Focus on your work.
Keep learning.
Keep improving.
Leave the outcome to Allah.

That's really the reason I've shared this small story.
Not to show what I've done. Not to compare myself with anyone. And not to suggest that my path is the right path for everyone.
Just to say: If someone from a family with no technology background can slowly learn computers, design, technology, English and modern tools — perhaps someone else can start learning too.
Everyone's journey is different. Start with what you have. Learn what you can. Work with sincerity. Keep improving.
